Professor Paul Sereno has invited Friends of Niger for a special tour of the fossil lab where loads of fossils from Niger are being curated, analyzed and catelogued. We are excited to see this amazing patrimony and he is excited to meet a bunch of people who share his love of Niger.

The lab is on the South side of Chicago near Washington Park, and has ample parking. This is where they do the hands-on work with bones and fossils to recompose skulls and skeletons. Also curated there is evidence of early human habitation that provide more clues to geology and the evolution of the desert environment.
